Process installation at the large-scale biocarbon production facility at Hønefoss is progressing well with process installation partner, NLI Engineering.

Vow Green Metals’ first large-scale production facility is progressing towards becoming one of Europe’s largest biocarbon production facilities. The 10,000 tons first phase of the project, including buildings and civil works for the 20,000 tons, is fully financed following the signing of green loan debt financing earlier this year with DNB, 50 percent guaranteed by Eksfin.

Civil works commenced in May this year and the project is on time and cost. Main buildings and infrastructure are largely completed, and the installation of process equipment started in October.

“We are proud to have been awarded this contract by Vow Green Metals, and play a sentral role in building a new and groundbreaking green industry in Norway,” said CEO of NLI Engineering, Even Hatlo Andersen.

NLI has worked with Vow Green Metals on the company's early production line, which is also located at Hønefoss and uses the same technology as at the large-scale production facility. The two companies expect to see significant synergies as experience and identified improvements from the early production line can be utilized at the large-scale facility.
